i'd forgotten i was a member of this tribe until i searched for it and found it again.
well, i've finished my MS and am now in the PhD program for Bioinformatics but i'm not sure now is the best time for it, so that may change. overall things are good and i'm looking for a job now and it is HARD. i can't believe how difficult it is to find bioinformatic jobs. even when i look at the nih jobsite if you put in 'bioinformatic' you get zero results. wth? the nih doesn't need bioinformatic scientists?? i'm pretty darn sure they do.
